It is a two step procedure that you should be able to do with AI. First create the Change then have the AI process query the file with the list of CIs to create the Change association records by validating the CI exist in the CMDB and pulling the field value, I think it is the recon ID to create the association records. -----Original Message----- From: Martinez, Marcelo A <marc...@cpchem.com> To: arslist <arslist@ARSLIST.ORG> Sent: Wed, Jun 17, 2015 9:35 am Subject: Create change request from SCCM script
** Hello all, we are trying to automate the creation of monthly server patching thru a script via SCCM. the script is working and the changes are getting created. for this integration we used email to Remedy to form CHG:ChangeInterface_Create. the issue we face is that only one CI can be passed to this form when the change is created. we are trying to pass several hundred CIs all at one. Using a template is not an option as the list of CIs may change from month to month. I don’t see the workflow in Dev Studio to handle this.. just want to confirm. also, what other options are there to explore? I've seen web services, but that’s for the same form.... CHG:ChangeInterface_Create ARS/ITSM 8.1 Thanks, Marcelo [Also posted on BMC Communities] _ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" and have been for 20 years_ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org "Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years"
