Admin tool appears to work alright for at least the few things I tried. The
user tool is another story. I encounter errors when opening the Incident
console and incident forms. Error is simply "No such field ID". On the
console, I get it once, and the left navigation fails to work at all. The
actual incident form gives the error quite a few times. This is running on
Vista Home Premium. After install, (IIRC) I get prompted by Vista to attempt
a reinstall with the "recommended" settings for the app. I'm not sure if it
just attempts to do the install again with compatibility mode or not. I'm
on-site with a client, and so I haven't had much time to play with it yet,
and am simply using a WinXP virtual machine till I get more time. I think I
get the same No Such field ID message when I goto the mid-tier and try to
load the INC pages though, so maybe it's simply an Internet Explorer issue
rather than the tools themselves? Hope that helps a bit. -Adam

Subject: Anyone tried BMC Remedy User or Admin 7.0 on Windows Vista??

Looking to see if anyone has braved the client tools
using Windows Vista yet. I don't see any reference in
the latest version of the compatibility matrix.
