Have you never visited the nabble site? I use it a lot. It is a great
way for me to check on the list while I'm at home and don't have access
to my work email.

Nabble is just an interface for the ARSlist, as your posts on nabble are
forwarded to the list.

You can visit the Nabble site set up fro ARSlist at
http://www.nabble.com/ARS-(Action-Request-System)-f716.html.

He wasn't talking about using Nabble as an interface - he said forum.
If some people would prefer to have their own forum, using whatever
mechanism, I hope it works out well for them. But I haven't heard a
great hue and cry for a new forum, so I guess I saw this as the answer
to a question that no one asked.

A blind, unsolicited advertisement to a product or service of unknown
voracity or quality - sounds like a good definition of spam to me.

Wow, why the hostility guys? Email may not work for everyone. Nabble
just provides another interface.

Let's try to be a little more courteous to other people please :-)

Like I'd want to participate in a forum that can't even spell
"beginner"?

Take your spam elsewhere, please. We already have a forum. This is it.
