You could have a display-only "Send email" flag. When you click the button an
active link sets "Send email" to "Yes". Then it saves (Commit) the entry. A
filter runs when 'TR.Send email' = "Yes" and sends the email.

If you want to be able to send email a second time during the same display you
have to set the flag back to NULL and save again.

This assumes that you are using a regular form, not display-only, and you are
willing to have the entry saved.
