gMail removes an attachment if it contains an executable. Zip files are
searched no matter what the extension of the attachment file is.

FYI: gMail does not currently search inside RAR files. So if you are
sending an executable use the RAR format (or I have heard of people
making a zip of a zip file and it passing through).

** No, I had the same experience as the other Gmail users.

Regarding zip files I have had success receiving zipped files via Gmail
in the past but there was no reference to the zip extension in the file
name.

Maybe if it was just named FastExp.txt? Technically not enough to fool
a virus scanner but I have success with it in the past.

Did anyone receive the full attachment? I did not.

If it is greater than 5MB our email system will remove it.
