Frank: In my case, I need to add the same set of fields to all non-audit regular forms, which would be rather tedious via the Admin Tool in a fully loaded ITSM7 server. :) I've also used Java API to add many forms to a single Filter or Active Link, to set Auditing up a certain way on many forms (& on many fields). Basically it's handy whenever you want to do the same thing over & over.
