Yup they can't be in both the places.. you either move or rename the original after copying which is generally what I do so when you upgrade you know exactly which files will offend the tomcat server.

I remembered after the fact that patching MT will break RKM and I don't remember the secret handshake to making it work again. I thought that you need to copy the arapi71.jar and arutil71.jar files out of C:\Program Files\AR System\Mid-Tier\WEB-INF\lib and put them in in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\common\lib. After starting Tomcat RKM still cannot authenticate to our Remedy server.
