I was actually told by a web server person at BMC, I will leave their name out that said when dealing with java heap size and Tomcat for RKM/Midtier you should not put the maximum size any higher than 1536MB regardless of how much RAM you server might have. They said that if you do Tomcat will not start. Has anyone ever heard of this.
