Bala, if you need "Date" field in all classes- add the field to Base element...
If you need "Date" to be availble in Computer class only- add the field in computer class Adding a field to a base element is not recommened, when you add a field in base element and want to export the cmdb class definition using cmdbdriver will have issues.you need to take definition of all the modified classes from Dev server to Prod server.. When you add a field in cmdb ,running the "syncassetui" will sync the cmdb and asset forms, so that the newly added fields will be visible on the asset forms... DONT ADD ANY FIELDS to ASSET FORMS MANUALLY IN REMEDY ADMINISTRATOR!!!
