I didn't yet try patch 3 but it doesn't work below patch 3.

Patch 3 does fix a few things though.. Recently I had a problem saving a
join form with a perfectly legal qualification involving a field with
enumerated values - it didn't like those.. That too I believe (was told by
Remedy Support) was resolved in patch 3.

I just tried this on Dev Studio patch 3, and it did successfully search
for + as well as _. I only tried it on the forms list, so I don’t know if
it behaves any differently with other lists.

I have come across the same thing too.. + is not searchable.. so I assumed
that maybe most special characters are not.. I didn't figure out a way to
escape then but then I didn't try too hard.. It ignored the first character
+ in my forms or workflow names and searched the next few characters so it
worked for me anyways..

In Developer Studio, 7.5 +, it also appears that the Underscore
character ‘_’ is a non-searchable character in the Search functionality.
So it may be a good idea to not use that in the naming convention.

    My 2 cents

    Hi All,

I was wondering if there are any good standards for naming filters and
active links. On my server there is an amazing mix that appears to be
dependant on what worked for the previous Admins. Also is there any
need/value to having the name all one word like the last two examples.
Really makes it hard to read/find. Here are some examples of what I have.
