Joe, Thanks for reviewing our solution and your kind words of encouragement. We designed (David is the architect) the solution to deal with issues our customers have asked for and to avoid specific pit-falls of competitive solutions. Our SLA/OLA module is awesome and a real pleasure to use and easy to visually understand. >From our Xtreme integration for Requesters to Visualization or our CMDB to data visualization tools like Apprologic's Calendar/Workflow manager ... we like being on the leading edge of technology with a que from our customers to KEEP IT SIMPLE. Thanks again, hope to hear from other interested listers too. Regards...Gidd _____

I had Gidd and David demo the older version to me 2 years ago and that was pretty good, this one has a lot more than their previous version. I would encourage those seeking a service management solution to take a look at their offering. It is based on the ARS, not as expensive as the ITSM solution, and yet looks and feels pretty good to me. I like their graphical representation of data and the ability to manipulate this data (even multiple records at a time) graphically as far as relationships to CI's are concerned.. Their graphical representation of their CI's and their relationships, and the functionality these graphs have to over to create, modify and delete relationships in my honest opinion is awesome! I also liked the flexibility they have to offer around their applications notification mechanism, right from customization of messages through the application interface, to events, and persons, groups, roles, to be notified. They seem to have a very robust SLA/OLA module too. I can go on, but its best seen.. I would encourage those even partially intrigued to contact Gidd or David and have them demo their product. It may be worth the while, especially if you'll are on the brink of considering a change because of cost prohibitions that your Remedy shops are currently facing.. Cheers Joe -----Original Message----- ** Advertisement Listers: Here's a new idiomatic expression for 2010, "the New More is Now Less". If stability, maturity and ease of administration are all terms you wouldn't apply to use and operation of your current ITSM suite then perhaps it might be time to look at what we do and our ESS @ Work application. With vendors offering "ITSM" applications that vary in cost from US$1.6 Million and up, then cost is a consideration that is paramount for your organization. We offer solutions that are easily significantly less expensive and can validate real ROI. If you are stuck on the upgrade merry-go-round, cannot get your SLM to do what you need it to do, are frustrated by a less-then-intuitive CMDB - then contact us off list or visit our website to schedule a guided tour of a Suite application written entirely in Remedy. Hey, you spend every day writing code, who better to show off our solution to? Peel back the covers and see what we do, how we do it and experience an application that won't break the bank. We are ITIL verified compliant, implementation of our solution supports that compliance. Our offerings include connectivity to External Databases, Graphical Visualization of our CMDB, a dynamic customizable Flex-driven Web interface for your users, enterprise Reporting (client and web) and so much more.... Our solutions offer true multi-tenancy and yes, it is all inclusive for a single fixed price. No application licenses! No application User Licenses ! No cost for Test and Development servers ! Take a look at what we do, schedule a webcast, you will not be disappointed. Regards.Gidd Glidden L. Calden BUOYANT SOLUTIONS, INC.
