Probably, yes.  If you want to keep the data, of course.  We have some bad 
customizations that we are looking forward to going away--we are going to try 
and convince the users they don't need them this time because the new views, 
etc will do it better.

If I remember correctly, it deletes the custom fields on the change form.  Most 
of the others it is supposed to preserve, but it will remove them from view.  I 
am in the middle of this upgrade now, and have not had ITSM install 
successfully yet.  Once I do, I suppose I'd be able to give a better answer.

I am about to start a ITSM 7.6 upgrade from 7.03 Patch 9.  I thought I remember 
someone posting that when they upgraded it deleted their custom fields.

Is that right?
