** Could you use $SERVERTIMESTAMP$?

$SERVERTIMESTAMP$
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For Date/Time fields, the current date and time on the server.
For Time fields, the current time on the server.
For Date fields, the current date on the server.
Note: The $SERVERTIMESTAMP$ keyword is not expanded when default values are
set. This allows the value to be set to the date and time (on the server) the
form is submitted rather than the date and time the form is opened.
Consequently, the literal keyword is displayed in the field before the request
is submitted.

Is there a way to force the $TIME$ function to use the server time?

We were going to use this to do some very time specific analysis, but
found out that if Joe Blow had his time zone wrong on his machine it
would set the time incorrectly.

$TIME$ = 12:30 PM
$TIMESTAMP$ = 2:30 PM
