Manish, I agree with Matt....but my remembrance of the process is that T123 becomes T123A, Remedy creates T123B, copies the data into B, and then renames T123B to T123 when complete. This only occurs when it can't modify the table in place and needs to create a new one...as outline by Matt, this is certainly not recommended 'during user interaction'.....but it is how Remedy does the stuff.

Now could you please advise me what should be settings at DB Oracle's (10G) end. 1. While saving Helpdesk table "T369" for helpdesk, it creates A369 table and T369 table dis-appears, is this normal. 2. When Helpdesk "T" table disappears helpdesk starts giving error Table and view doesn't exist, what should be done to save this pattern. 3. What should be TEMP TABLE Space size when Helpdesk "T" table size is "10 GB" or has no relation to Helpdesk "T" table size. 4. On Helpdesk Form modification, what are the possible cases when indexes drops. 5. What else can be impacts more on Helpdesk form if appropriate TEMP space not found. Thanks to share the above asked question ASAP, is bit urgent to know.
