Hi listers, I have a question about what do you think is the best way of doing for the next requisite. I need to control a set of systems, not computer system, but something like robotic arms of a factory, machinery and other stuff that is intended to be monitored and Remedy must control it's availability and related SLA's.
SLA's are very different from anything supported by SLM, so I'm considering developing an external app to control the fulfillment instead of customizing the original one. But my question is about the way to store the set of devices to be monitored. I see three options: - Create a custom form to store them - Create a new CMDB class (or classes) - Use a predefined class, like computer system. I think I can obtain a good result with the three options. Also i see cons and pros for all three. But don't know what's your opinion, and if anyone as faced a similar situation in the past.
