This was June, 2011 -- management (very bad and uneducated) had negative
interest in customizing RemedyOnDemand, and  BMC Support were of no help...
about all I could do was to download the necessary Ticket collections using
Remedy reports, (at regular intervals using Windows 'Chron Job' as I recall)
and then manipulate the data using a VB Windows application --- (this worked
fine and was far more flexible, e.g. Weekly Reports which adapted to 3 day
weekends etc...).  Data import of new CI's was done manually, one by one ...
(hrs of work)....

Hi, Allen –

I’m surprised to hear your comments. Maybe something got mis-communicated when
you were using it? Remedy OnDemand DOES allow both customizations and API
access.  As Aditya said, we're providing Remedy OnDemand to over 125 very
successful customers. Maybe you were on it very early when we were more
cautious about customizations (although we still allowed them)?

I’m sorry you had a bad experience with it; but anyone who is interested should
talk with their account manager to learn current state.

Do not use; don't let your dog use.  No customization possible, and as for API
methods, forget it.
Either go to Remedy Footprints, or FORCE, or any of the newer products (I am
currently looking at 9 of them..........would love to share remarks off the
record...)

All,
I saw some comments concerning Remedy OnDemand from back in 2011.  I am hoping
to get some other feedback from current customers of this platform or customers
that were investigating this and decided to stay on site.  How is performance?
Any limitations you have found after rolling it out?  Any other information
that you would like to share is appreciated.

Thank You,
Brandi
