The WWRUG2013 Advisory Board is excited to announce that the Call for Papers is
officially open as of April 2, 2013 for the WWRUG13 Conference!

The Process:
Our process involves a few steps –
1. Login to the portal (www.wwrug.org/register) and create an account
(will require your Bio – 1000 characters or less, Photo, and shirt size).
2. Once created, you will use this account to login and submit your topics
(www.wwrug.org), including a Synopsis (summary of your topic, brief – 750
characters or less), and an Abstract (full description of the topic).
3. Select the Technical Skill Level (Entry Level, Intermediate, Advanced,
or None), Classification (Product, Service, Case Study, Educational,
Integration, or Other), Categorization (AR System – Core, ITSM, CMDB, ADDM,
Custom Application, OnDemand or Other), and Specification (Technical,
Management, Training, Vendor or Other).
4. Topics will be reviewed and notices of status will be sent to you as
the submitter by 15 May 2013.
5. If your topic is selected by the WWRUG13 Board, you will be notified by
15 May and will be asked to submit a rough draft of your presentation (in the
format of the PowerPoint template downloaded from the portal) using your
account and the portal where the account was created.
HELPFUL TIPS TO MINIMIZE THE REVISIONS ON YOUR PART
(aka - common errors found by WWRUG Advisory Board):
A. Ensure you download the template from the portal
B. Omit any extra formatting (like company specific headers, footers,
proprietary notices, etc.)
C. Review each page to make sure you have the page number, header, footer,
in place
D. All slide titles need to be on a single line
E. Make sure the font is consistent throughout the entire presentation
F. Graphics may not cover the header, footer or page number, must be
visible on the page and not extend past the borders
G. Use spell check to ensure your content is spelled correctly

6. Once the WWRUG Advisory Board reviews your draft, you may be asked to
make changes and upload them via the portal.
7. Deadlines are strictly enforced this year. As part of the submission
process, you will be presented with the Speakers Agreement and asked to agree
with the terms before you can proceed. Failure to meet the deadlines will
result in your topic being dropped from the Conference, no exceptions.
8. The deadlines are listed here below:
a. Submission of ABSTRACT, SYNOPSIS and TOPIC – Due Date of May 15, 2013
b. Submission of rough draft of PRESENTATION to be considered by WWRUG –
