I think the issue that people are bringing up when saying the rates are low
is that basically you are limiting yourself to people in the area.  Anyone
outside the area that might have to travel can't afford to for that rate
unless someone else is picking up the tab.

Even if you consider moving for the job, the rate is to low to cover moving
expenses in most peoples eyes.

But like everyone else, this is my view.
