Usually time to load patches really depends on the size of your system, so that really is a variable. The larger your underlying tables that get upgraded, the longer the upgrade will take.
The other variable is the system specs and your environment (DB, application server, network speeds between the two). I think a more useful statistic for you to collect would be: I have a system that has a database size of x, DB server specifications of y, application server specifications of z, sitting on a physical/virtual environment, etc. etc and it took me n number of hours to upgrade. That will give you a better benchmark to estimate your upgrade time. I have no statistics to offer as I have not personally loaded this patch on any system. It's the core AR System patches that needs more caution. I have not heard of any DO's or DON'Ts for ITSM patches for the release of the ITSM application you are talking about. We have just been informed that we need to patch this in the next few days bringing it up to the most recent ITSM Patch level (7.6.04 patch 4 I believe). Does anybody have any insight into things that we should look for? Our installation is not to heavily modified.
