Leslei: Does your post mean that Councilman Hamilton should continue to
serve while out on bail?
-----Original Message-----I didn't know John Hamilton in years past, but I do believe in our "innocent until proven guilty" system.

At the council meetings I have gone to, I've never heard Hamilton take an opposing view just for the hell of it. I think Mark's statement is incorrect. I usually hear Hamilton give a logical explanation on why he is asking deeper questions or voting in a different way from the rest of the council.
The decisions I have heard him publicly discuss are ones that value the poor people of Asbury Park and question those people who don't necessarily care about the long-term success of Asbury, but stand to make lots of money from the Redevelopment. That's more than I can say for the rest of the council.
