I saw the Casino the other day and it just seems to be falling more & more apart.  Now in a way I think it looks cool ... there seem to be crows nesting in it, trees growing up top!  and it's almost a deteriorating building but moving spectrum in time.  But I know long term if it gets too far 'gone' they will probably say it can't be restored.  I believe in a 'perfect' world we'd learn to incorporate nature's 'changes' into our designs (and not be so quick to get rid of everything, every being that gets in 'the way') *especially* if 'we' are part of the reason this happens.  (leaving an open building exposed to all elements?)  I assume that the plan to restore it is to bring it back to its original 'look.'  was there ever a timeline of when each piece of the 'puzzle' was to be completed?

I appreciate everyone's comments.

You're already going astray there. "...effect we would like..."
starts a subjective process. Back up and let 'Asbury Park' be your
guide, not (we, you or I)

Excellent, Keep-it-Simple, apply that to the process also, think
about it. Lighting fixtures are lighting fixtures, not music,
instruments, or symbols, glad you re-thought that.

You're half way there, but still interjecting the "I" factor.
seperate yourself from this and keep repeating - Asbury Park, Asbury
Park, Asbury Park....
