I'm so certain I didn't twist any words or do anything along the lines of not getting along, that I'll even let you arbitrate the issue. Here is how it went:
In post 9820, Skip refers to granite blocks and then says "Keep'em in suburbia with those monster trucks." Ever since proclaiming that I had a fun time on that Monster Truck with my kids last 4th of July, Skip just can't stop bringing it up. Clearly the Monster Truck comment was designed to get my attention. Right Skip? in 9822, I ask Skip where Suburbia is. In 9226 he says Tinton Falls Ocean Manalapan "wherever you live" and then brings up monster trucks again. In 9830 I point out that different countries use different definitions of Urban and Suburban. In the US, one Urban standard is a town with 2500 people, another is an Urbanized Area of 50,000 people. Just a bit of helpful information I was passing along. No judgments or name calling - just infromation. In 9831 suddenly skip says (not insinuates as your post suggests) that I got the info from a "Republican Guide." Then he brings up Monster Trucks again (why?). in 9833 I point out that it is government numbers, not Republican Party numbers, and it is used for largess. As it was 2:07 in the am (I have insomnia) I politely asked Skip why he was up so late. In 9834 he responded by calling me a "fool." At this point I decided not to respond. In 9834 he drags me back in again and by repeating the those Urban/Suburban numbers are a "party line" and then referes to my friends and me as "stiffs" at "monster truck rallies" (he is obsessed with my kids and me taking that truck ride). Now I point out Dan, at this point I've said nothing mean to Skip. I haven't twisted any workds of his. I related info about Urban/Suburban definitions I thought the board might find interesting. IN contrast to this point, Skip referes to me as a "fool" a "stiff," some insult about Monster Trucks and accuses me of being part of some conspiracy to float Republican propaganda (despite my telling him those are Fed guidelines, not Republican). In 9843, you chime in about monster truck rallies. To what end? In 9844, I think I'm granted a little leeway to defend myself in the scarcasm ring, don't you agree? So I joke about Skip having me in conspiracy with the Feds (subliminally trying to show him yet again they are Fed guidelines). In 9848, Skip accuses me of Dogma, being religious (insult?) Something about being a lawyer and once abain not getting the message about the numbers being from the Feds, accuses me of citing them from "Bush's Little Red Book." Then I'm treated to your post below accusing me of twisting words and not getting along. Please render your decision Dan. Have I really twisted words or not gotten along? > > Skip MIGHT have been referring to the Republican Party if any political > party in particular. Tommy, are you suggesting that the republican > party and the federal government are one and the same? I thought it was > supposed to be party neutral regardless of the administration. > > I have not seen anything where Skip suggests you control the Fed. We > were all just beginning to get along. Tommy, you're starting to twist > people's words again. No no. Yahoo!
