What a lovely gift delivered to the American people by its government
in time for Independence Day.

In the 'olden days' this would be cause for law-abiding citizens to
arm themselves and stand up to the repressive government. Today, of
course, anybody who would do so would be demonized by the media as
being part of some fringe militia group and then either arrested or
shot by ATF agents.

With this decision, the US gov't has overstepped its limits and has
pushed ordinary citizens just a few notches closer toward a
revolution -- IF they get off their TV-addled duffs and look at
what's being done to them. Not the communist-style revolution (since
the supreme court decision has posited the US into the realm of the
socialist nations - or perhaps like the British gov't of old that we
supposedly overthrew from their rule on this continent) but the type
Jefferson spoke of when he said "a little rebellion now and then is
a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in
the physical. ... It is a medicine necessary for the sound health of
government."
