One of the problems I've noticed throughout the last decade was that people
still believe the Pony is only about nostalgia and only important to
Springsteen fans. The truth is for as many improvements the club needs, it
is one of the most well known clubs in the world and important to many, many
bands.

Just this year only I can remember about 5 world tours starting at the Stone
Pony - all from bands that have zero to do with Springsteen.

By turning the club and the Palace and the Casino and Convention Hall into
nothing but Springsteen fan structures - you are pointing out why the city
struggles with its tourism idea. These structures are WORLD FAMOUS.
They're not just important to a few over zealous fans. A well organized
tourist plan would be able to capitalize on this. Unfortunately, I think
too many people simply lump them into the Springsteen category and fail to
see the true potential for tourism.
