How can you say that I agreed with you when I was the one that pointed out where you were wrong about that? In fact the first time that you were on Maureen's show espousing your mistake I contacted her and offered to come on and clear up the matter. Naturally, she refused. She is so partisan against the council that she actually refused to have me on to let the truth be told, because she won't allow anyone to disagree with you. So much for objective journalism. When Maureen wouldn't let me on I posted the explanation to this board. Go look it up. I told you the council in January is permitted to authorize review of the amendment before the writing is finished later in March. It is a smart thing to do because 1) the planning board has to comment on it first anyway and 2) it speeds up the process. So the dates line up perfectly. There is no problem there. You even posted back that I could be right about that. Now in your post below you rewrite history and claim I've been in agreement with you? I'm glad you did that actually. Anyone can go back to those posts and see which of us is telling the truth about that. By the way the copy of the proposed amendment to the plan the City sold me back in 2002 was the March proposal, so there goes another of you Oliver Stone theories that they sold the public the June version. Anyone who wants to see it can come to my office and look. It's been on display with my Asbury collection for 3 years now. Lastly, your line about me being "called in" is typical of people on your side, always wishing for some grand conspiracy. For the record, the only city official I've ever spoken to about this matter is Jim Keady.
