i think asbury partners thought they were getting a good deal on convention hall, beasue in their minds they were. they might have planned on doing nothing with it, untill the very end of the 10 year development scope. that way, they wouldnt have to use any of their money, untill the end, when they acutally had some. by then, they would be rolling in money, and wouldnt mind spending the few million it would take to properly resotre the buidling.
