"Kids will walk to concerts families won't walk to the boardwalk until a no tolerance for crime is put into effect. Streets have to be safe clean and well lit. Asbury's rep is still drugs, crime and shootings who's bringing there families here at night? The rep needs to change."
thats true, with saying ap still has a bad image for the most part. even with the added burst of life in the downtown. i dont really agree that people wont go there tho, at night. last summer, fof the fireworks on the forth of july, it was pretty well packed. people walking all over the boardwalk. people were seen parking on the west side of kinglsy, about a block and a half in. i think the people that go to asbury to hang out, or do whatever. are the "cool" people, who want to stand up to the town, and show they are here to do something,
and there not going to let a bad reputation, or drug dealers scare them away.
