I have to agree with the majority on this Rescue Mission. The mission is not being brought here to help the residents of AP. From what I remember when they first brought this up in city council meeting is that it will not be open to city residents and everyone receiving services from the mission will be from other locations in the state. When Marlboro closed it's doors it seemed like they loaded everyone on a bus and dropped them in AP and Ocean Grove. If we now allow the state to dictate who can dump their problems in Asbury Park then we all may as well pack our bags and be on our way because if this happens it will not be the first time and it will not be the last.
