I just realized.

There are a few here that worked int he corporate world - at AT&T.

- they were still having meetings about Pay Phones in 1998.
- they were going to buy AOL before AOL was AOL but decided to build
worldnet. (true).
- they had a deal with direct tv before direct tv was big, but forgot
when they sent out the direct mail, to tell their operators....
- they thought it would be cool to sell cash registers
- they had ATT wireless, but were clueless. Then sold it. Then bought
it back. Maybe.
- they had 100million +/- customers.
- they....

Why do I say this?

Having sat through countless meaningless meetings and projects...

1. you have some ex ATT people here.
2. AP has an asset that they are trying to market.
3. The asset hasn't been marketed successfully in years.
4. You have a recongized name. A name that fewer and fewer of the
younger crowd really know or care about.
5. you have alot of talented people in town.
6. you have alot of people in town who should retire.
