Maybe the shut down of the ESP is both a wake up call and a blessing
in disguise.
Other good things are still happening, like the restoration of CH and
the Paramount, and continued work on the Casino.
What do those 3 have in common? Entertainment, and it's amazingly
obvious that entertainment is the only thing truly and predictably
bringing people and money to our oceanfront.
The oceanfront area is pretty much a blank slate right now. MM could
step up and take the lead into developing the area into a successful
arts/entertainment district.
