It comes down to results. No one complains about paying as long as there are
results. The
costs are also among the highest in the nation. It's not bitching, it's
questioning the
business of education across the state. Like waste and cost savings and having
qualified
personel and stop corruption and being held accountable for the billions spent
in NJ let
alone AP. Other districts have to think before they spend - others just spend
and spend
like there is no tomorrow. IF you were held accountable for your spending or
had to
spend on more on an equal level from you local property taxes, you WOULD be
complaining. The property taxes in AP would be HIGHER, RENTS would be HIGHER .

Yes, you have every right to happy that the feds and state pay a major portion
of the
school budget. Very happy.

That's why the BOE needs high priced attorney's to make sure and lobby for
those abbott
$ to remain strong.

That's why the state (after numerous audits of abbott districts) wants to see
where the
money is going and what are the test results and get this HOW ARE THE KIDS
developing.

SPend, research, fix. Hopefully all the spending WILL improve the life of
these kids over
their lifetime so that their children don't get caught up in the system and the
entire
abbott system will be reduced to near zero, eliminating the need for so many
lawyers.
