If I understand you AsburyCouple, your assertion is that I'm wrong for having an answer. I should not see it as black and white.
You think I have made the environmentalists who will oppose the this object of scorn. I invite you to look at Clean Ocean Action's website. Like me they have made up their mind. Are you equally upset with them for having an answer, for seeing it in Black and White? If you are being fair, you must. Their answer is contrary to mine. Talk about scorn? Hyperbole? The top of their LNG page says "Stop the Insanity!" (Susan Powter?) They call the proposed development "Insanity Island." They promote a YouTube video with no scientists, rather - you can guess it - Hollywood actors and actresses (and surfer). I wrote down some of their argument (which is as I predicted): "Corporate" (a bad thing?) money-makers (a bad thing?) dangerous and the people involved "Don't care" [precisely, 100% as I predicted they would say]> Global warming thrown in as a scare for good measure. AND THE BIG LIE: EVEN CLAIMING AND EXPLOSION WOULD BE AS POWERFUL AS A NUCLEAR BOMB! BWAAAAHAAAHAAHAAAAHAAAHAAHAA! Hey, don't these people believe that George Bush conned us into war by a false nuclear scare? Did they adopt his tactics? My point is, we need to build these terminals, so we can buy from friend and not enemies, de-regionalize the price structure, and have the infrastructure to ship to ourselves our own production if need be. So what's your answer, AsburyCouple: Is Clean Ocean Action wrong for having already decided on a position, or is it just me? --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "asburycouple" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I don't know the right answer.
