Last night at 7 pm I surprised a would be bicycle thief who was in the process
of trying to steal my bicycle seat/seat post. This happened in broad daylight.
I was leaving my apt with my dog when this little shit heard us coming down the
stairs, and I saw him with his hands on my bike. He ran away before I could see
his face, but I did see him join a group of three other kids on BMX bikes, and
they all sped away. I called the APPD and they confirmed that this is a huge
problem in AP right now. That being said, be vigilant about anything you leave
outside of your homes.
