Asbury is not the only shore community to charge for the beach after labor day

I can't answer the rest of your questions, they would probably be better
directed to a city official at Municipal Hall rather than a resident created
messageboard on Yahoo

Subject: [AsburyPark] Re: Beach Fees after Labor Day?

Doesn't answer my question re fees, nor does it justify it. Total gouging. What
does the beach itself in Asbury offer that I can't walk down 3 blocks to Ocean
Grove and get for free? And why does the city feel no obligation to tell people
when badges are no longer required? They need to get over themselves.
