There is an old theater sitting empty right by North Beach (oak can give more
details on that), but there are spots where ReVision can go...permanently

I have to make it crystal clear, that I am not for dotting the whole waterfront
with amusements, I... like the others, simply want a carousel in the carousel
house, a ferris wheel would be great, maybe some one-off small rides here and
there

Its not rocket science, its what the people want.....MM would be surprised
(probably not tho) how many boardwalk visitors want this.....

I have to admit ... the last (10) or so responses were great. A Carousel in the
Casino Area but will the Revision Theater find a permanenet home? They are
going strong there now ... I have been to EVERY show as alot of locals. Its
been great. A Ferris Wheel would be a winner but at what location? It seems the
area north of the Convention Center may be next testing ground with some new
ventures? Each season for the last (5) seasons I have lived here part-time and
the beach crowd has grown exponentially. Some businesses have failed but some
have survived that are not food related. Of course alot of traffic from Ocean
Grove which really has no good mix of restaurants or night life. That new
breakfast place Toast has been a hit ... ask any Ocean Grover full time in this
town if he/she has not heard of it or even been there. That Beerfest last
weekend reached its maximum allowable capacity for the event of 2,200 people
and sold out. I was shut out trying to get in there from the 6-10PM session.
Probably with another 500 or so people like myself wanting to get inside this
event. I think what makes AP unique now is the current diversification that few
other beach resorts can match even at this time. We can only hope this success
can spread WEST into the city season after season and all this revenue can
revitilize areas TO THE WEST.
