someone with common sense would take advantage of people that like to stroll -
from OG and AP and north...

The boardwalk and a new "lakewalk" should take one directly from the boardwalk
aroiund both sides of the casino and down along wesley lake. It would be a
natural stroll.

You probably wouldn't know it, but there is a sidewalk (what there is of it)
along a good portion of the OG side. Add a few benches or bumps along the
walkway and you wind up with a natural extension into the downtown or from the
downtown to the boardwalk.

I'd rather walk along the lake then down cookman ave - gives people an option.

On the north end of town, I'd do the same - some kind of walkway or path around
the lake with seating etc.

I'd also like to see picnic areas along the BW -so maybe a family can do some
take out from a boardwalk eatery (or downtown) or yes, bring their own. Do it
at the north end if your fearful. Not everyone wants to eat on the beach or on
their lap on a bench. you can always meter the picnic tables...

There's so much natural beauty that can go a real long way - that is, if
someone takes a step back to notice. And sunset is a natural as well.
