End User may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on unlimited
home computers of his or hers for non-commercial use
and one commercial use computer.

Saya bukan orang legal. Tapi kalau dibaca di EULA di atas, kelihatannya yg
dimaksud sebagai SOFTWARE PRODUCT adalah Xandros Linux itu sendiri, BUKAN
softwares lainnya yg memang bayar (spt crossover dll). Softwares spt crossover
dll itu dlm EULA tsb disebut sebagai SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, sedangkan Xandros
Linux-nya sendiri disebut sebagai SOFTWARE PRODUCT,.
Saya juga sudah baca EULA buat semua produk Xandros Linux ini: kalau buat
komersial sistem lisensinya sama dgn Microsoft: untuk setiap komputer komersial
harus ada lisensinya sendiri (kalau non-komersial sih gak perlu lisensi. Tapi
memangnya ada warnet yg non-komersial?). Coba deh baca kalimat terakhir di atas
tsb: "The End User may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on unlimited home computers
of his or hers for non-commercial use and one commercial use computer." Jangan
anggap enteng polisi deh, daripada repot nantinya. Bu Judith aja baru tau dari
polisi soal EULA Microsoft gara-gara masalah Cilacap. Nanti kalau buat cari
duit polisi mempermasalahkan juga EULA Xandros ini gimana? Mendingan pake
distro Linux lain aja yg nggak ada ketentuan begitu, ubuntu misalnya. Btw,
harga lisensi Xandros ini bisa lebih mahal daripada Windows XP Home, lho,
tergantung tipe distribusi yg kita pilih.
