I Don't quite understand what your trying to say here Martin.
I am running a 2003 web server I can do whatever i need to it.
When people logon to this site from the web not internal network is when i want client
to have the pdf's forced into there cache not my server. The PDF's and FDF's are
stored in a temp folder on my server till user action forces them to be destroyed.
Everytime a pdf and fdf are created the previous ones are destroyed. User actions are
controled so that they do not end up with options to download unavailable pdfs. Any
pdfs left laying around are destroyed on session end. Does that make it a little
easyer for you to help me.
This server is dedicated to making this website run. It is pretty fast. The reason for
wanting to speed up pdf delivery is for dial customers. On high speed connections it
is quick enough.

Hi all
I have created on the fly pdf file using the fdf toolkit from adobe.
I am wondering if there is a way to force the download of these pdf's so when a
user clicks the download button it doesn't take as long to show them.
Basically what i am doing is when a user submits a form it creates an fdf file and
also a pdf file named by a certain field on the form.When the use clicks the save form
button it tells the fdf file to load its info into the pdf file. The submit page
creates the file then refreshes the form and gives the user the extra buttons to dload
the form in pdf format .
What i am hoping for it some kind of code that can launch the fdf file and force
the pdf file to load in cache that way the pdf will load quicker. If this is possible
I would really like to know how this works and anyhelp would be really awsome. Thanks
in advance for any of your help in this matter.
