Dear Rini, The responses that have come thro' so far tells me what I had told the 'powers' !!!!!! That - 1, No single date will suit everyone 2, Everyone has to arrange their leave, travel etc.etc well in advance - an issue not confined to a specific part of the Globe eg UK,USA,Canada or others 3, Although less expensive than in the past, international travel is still quite expensive, the figures simply multiply depending on the size of the families. Journeys are often very lengthy esp from North Americas and Europe. 4, Like it or not, each 'prabasi' is a capable, bright individual and hence, likely to have 'individual agendas' which may or may not strike a chord with the 'corporate agenda' - Therefore, the answer lies in adequate, meaningful discussion/debate, agreeable planning and adequate notice with an explicit agenda and NOT hand down unilateral decisions. May be there lies the lesson for the future. What is the agenda and expectations from us ?? Best wishes Ranjit ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2003 3:38 PM Subject: (Assam) Prabasi Asomiya Sanmilan postpone
