Dear Assamnet administrator:
            Can you please post the following note in
your Assamnet? Thanks.

                 Rick and Nick

=======================================================

Shrahdeya Raiz:
                We are Americans born NRA. We are 13 years
old, going to be 14 soon. In a few weeks, we
are planning to record a CD of Assamese songs in
America. Our parents suggest that we select a
representative sample of various kinds of Assamese
tunes such as
               (i)   Borgeet;
               (ii)  Bihu Geet;
               (iii) Bon Geet;
               (iv)  Biya Nam;
               (v)   Adhunik Geet; &
               (vi)  Nichukoni Geet.

               We want to have at least one song from
each of the above categories. Unfortunately we dont
have any songs from category (vi)Nichukoni Geet.

                The lyrics of one such song from this
category are somewhat like
                 AMARE MOINA XUBO A
                 BARITE BOGORI RUBO A
                 BARIRE BOGORI POKI XORI JABO A
                 AMARE MOINAI BUTOLI KHAB A

                .

                Our parents cannot remember anything more
than those 4 lines. We know the tune but need
the lyrics. If anyone can help us and provide the full
wording for this song, we shall really appreciate it.

               Our email:  [EMAIL PROTECTED]

               Thanks.

               Rick & Nick,
