Of course, the Assamese boys would have to emulate their Indian elder
brothers, they will have to have 'Assam Sena' because their Indian elder
brothers have 'Shiv Sena'. What I am surprised is that they did not name it
'Lachit Sena'. (If they wanted to show some originality, they could have
named it 'Oxom Bahini' or simply 'Xanti Bahini', if they are meant to
preserve peace). But no, Assamese will have to emulate their big Indian
brothers in evry step.

This basically shows that however loud we try to shout "Assam Nation"
aganist the ugly Indians, the fact is Assamese are completely under the
spell of mainstream India. This also shows that, however strongly we try to
deny, culturally Assam is a part of great India. In religion, Assamese are
following Hindutva (ignoring Xong.kordev), in literature Assamese are
copying the Bengalis, in movies Assamese are copying Bollywood (film-makers
with originality like Jhanu Barua etc are trying hard to get out of Assam).
Whether it is AASU, or AGP, or ULFA, or Cong(I), it is the same 'tilika'
Assamese mind. Assamese are basically followers of the Indian main-stream.
One would simply hope that in the process, Assamese would try to learn
something good out of the ugly Indians.
