Hi, It is not easy to switch, for example the latest ASSP v2 wont start on perl 5.10.1 on debian squeeze (the version before was working fine) after the latest update and I must downgrade and latest ASSP v1 seems to be buggy.
Wheezy servers are fine, until ASSP wont start on 5.14 Miro Dňa 19.05.2014 19:10 Lee Howard wrote / napísal(a): > Forking and independent maintenance are certainly options... and they > may be appropriate for your case, I don't know. > > However, as we can expect the current developers to be doing most > feature development and improvements in V2 eventually you will find that > the burden of maintaining V1 to be considerably more than to have just > switched to V2 initially. > > So, if you can't summon enough help or interest to continue to maintain > V1 then, honestly, your best option is to find a way to switch to V2 > before 2015. > > As a current V2 user and a past V1 user I can say that the switch was > worth the effort to make. > > Thanks, > > Lee. > > > On 05/19/2014 09:46 AM, Thomas Tempelmann wrote: >> Well...
