Jimmy - I spend all day chained to my desk, no need for a wireless phone
in the office. In my home office I use a Linksys wireless G router with
(2) FXS ports, running out to an Aastra analog deskphone and a garden
variety Uniden 900 MHz wireless phone. I also run a softswitch client
by Pandora Networks paired with a Plantronics CS50 Wireless USB
Headset. Occasionally use Skype with a USB phone with internal DSP.
The Linksys router/gateway is registered with one of our Asterisk
servers, Inbound and outbound calls through there. I'm a gadget freak
so I'm always testing out new phones. I would use a normal WIFI phone
if I was on the go while at work, but I rarely leave my office so there
is no need.

Folks!
A note of caution about Uniden equipment. Please read all the product
reviews on Uniden equipment before you buy them. My experience with
Uniden Phones is not satisfactory, both Usability as well as appearance
and quality of the phones.
