Philip, Make sure you are testing with good quality phones and without headsets. Don't test with any cordless/wireless phone or headsets.
I've seen a problem where a customer was using a Plantronic wireless headset and was complaining about echo on our network. I got him to use the phone's handset instead of the headset and the problem was gone!!!! Good luck, Stephan Monette Unlimitel inc. I am brutally angry with digium especially since I am a reseller and have sold alot of there gear. So if anyone can help me figure out the problem stated below that would be most appreciated by the many people out here with Iaxys There problem is there is occasionally mild to really bad echo. this has nothing to do with the pstn , this portion has been debugged to death secondly it happans when there is an iaxy to iaxy call, so this dosnt even touch the pstn !!!! ive checked latencys and they all seem to be 120ms and less 120 being the worst, jitter is usually non exsistent to 0003ms so that is absolutly nothing. The system is using the latest asterisk as of a few days ago 1.0.x branch and is an amd 2800+ running on centos 2.6 Can anyone please point me in the direction to fix this issue before i just blacklist digium hardware. Thanks, A very frustrated Phil MassiveTel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
