Thats a hard question to answer. Each phone has its pluses and minuses and some of them are still too new to say for certain. At the moment my current favourite is the Sipura 941 but, at nearly $200 its really not that great of a deal. I've found the Sipura 841 is also a good phone for the money. I have clients that are happy with the Granstream GXP-2000s. Of course you can also use the Cisco phones but they are very expensive. Similar to the Polycoms, the quality is good but the interface is terrible. And the softkeys are nonsense. (7 key presses to set a phone on DND?) I suppose the biggest challenge is finding a phone thats suitable for a busy switchboard. Just doesn't exist at the moment. -- John Lange OpenIT ltd. www.Open-IT.ca (204) 885 0872 VoIP, Web services, Linux Consulting, Server Co-Location
