If you wouldn't mind, turn the headset off and on and experiment with the
transmitted audio (xlite showed me a "full bar" for transmit audio which is
how I knew the other party'd be in pain if I answered). I am really curious
if your setup does that or not -- with mine, if I did NOT turn the BT headset
off and on (I was trying to save battery) it would work great. It just
seemed to get "out of sync" when it had to reconnect.

My brother took my HS810 and got a totally different dongle (I don't know
which one offhand) but it had a distinctly different problem when
reconnecting. I can't recall what it was now and he's not online to answer,
but it was definitely not "screeching pain".
