I got a F1000 last summer. It works very well and since the last firmware update it's been working even better.
I've been eyeing the F3000 (which is b/g and colour flip phone) but I have to get a little more life out of this one to justify replacing it. Either that or find it a new home and get myself a new one. The problem is that it's not extremely user friendly, so it has to be a carefully placed new home. - Ian On 3/27/06, Martin Glazer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm looking for some recommendations for a wireless IP phone - I haven't > used > any of these products previously and a client of mine is looking to > implement > Asterisk and uses WiFi in one of his offices. > > Doing some research, it looks like there are 2 main types: > - a straight 802.11 b/g phone with Sip stack > - a Sip basestation with a remote handset (similar to your regular > cordless > phone) > > Has anyone used either of these types before? > What are the pros / cons of going the one route over the other? > > A number of these phones can be found here > http://www.canadianvoipstore.com/index.php?cPath=270_279 > > Thanks > > Martin > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >
