I tested the Hitachi for a while.  It was fairly reliable but it did crash
on me once or twice while I was changing a bunch of settings.

One important feature that I liked was it's ability to hop from one AP to
another.  I tested this at layer 2, and the docs say it can even hop at
layer 3 but I didn't test that.  There's a momentary interruption when it
hops but it's certainly not a huge deal.  One nice thing is that asterisk
will hang on to your call for a while even when you're out of touch so you
can get in an elevator and go down a couple of floors without losing your
call altogether.
