In my experience, if 555-1111 was in use, no forwarding would occur and the caller would end up in voicemail.
It may behave differently if the 555-1111 line is never in use however, I didn't try that scenario before porting the number. On 5/15/06, Alan Cohen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hello all If I call-forward my business line 555-1111 to 555-2222 and several calls are immediatelly made to 555-1111, will they ALL be forwarded to 555-2222? Bell Canada assures me that this is true, but somehow I'm sceptical. If that's really the case, it would seem to be a cost-saving piece of advice to people who need to have multiple lines available for incoming calls. ie: if you have (say) an Unlimitel number which supports several virtual circuits, you can call-forward your single PSTN number to that Unlimitel number. -- Sincerely, Alan Cohen email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] website: http://perimeter911.com phone: 416-783-9826 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
