Just a quick side note on this,

Rogers was to charge an additional fee for tethering from your iPhone as
of Dec 31, but they announced in late-December that "their offer to
allow tethering for free" would be pushed to at least May 3rd.

So watch for the fine print, or another extension, in late April.
